South River, Canada

Bed & Breakfast

Made it successfully. For the first hour of the 3.5 hour drive it was wet snow. Then it turned to snow. For the final hour it was a blizzard. At times I could not see the road, basically followed the tire tracks of the car in front of me. Thankfully, Canadians know how to drive in the snow and it was light the entire time. Don't think I could have make it if it was dark out.

Overnighting at a bed and breakfast. Dog sledding starts at 8:30AM tomorrow!

Updated weather forecast sunny, temperatures hovering around 30 degree F mark. Fresh snow and sunny! Glad I brought sunglasses.

Dog Sledding Adventure Starts Today

I arrive in Toronto at noon today. Weather forecast is predicting 90% chance of snow all day and I have to drive 4 hrs north. I expect to be driving very slow. Hopefully the roads will be plowed!! Then tomorrow while camping the temperature is supposed to drop close to zero. Hopefully, the winter wear that I packed is sufficient! It would be adventure camping/travel with a little weather ailments.
