Wynwood Walls
When I first visited Wynwood Walls a few years back, I was impressed. This time I wasn't as impressed. Many of the original artwork was painted over my new artwork and it didn't fell as organic. Maybe I'm less impressed of the artwork after viewing the street art in Palestine and Colombia. But overall Wynwood Walls seems a lot more commercial. When I first visited it seemed a bit more underground and "rebelish". Nevertheless, it was a convenient place to meet Nat (a twitter friend), have a few drinks and catch up.
Miami Beach Botanical Gardens
The day was gloomy and overcast, which maybe influenced my opinion, but I was completely underwhelmed by these botanical gardens. Perhaps my viewing numerous botanical gardens around the world jaded me a bit. Nevertheless, if I lived in the neighborhood, I'd probably visit the gardens. They seemed very peaceful.
Bass Museum of Art, Miami
When there's a contemporary art museum nearby and I have a few extra hours, I'm going to visit it. I may or may not be addicted to them.

Southern Tier - St. Augustine, FL
Made it to the Atlantic Ocean! Lots of mixed emotions. Crossing Northern FL was amazing tho. FL is perhaps my fave state to cycle in now. It's very cyclist friendly. I've also learned how to become a "spinner" instead of a "masher" after my injuries. Starting to believe my "mashing" and century days were partially (mainly) the cause of my hip and IT band injuries. They seem to be on the mend now... on to the next adventure... eastern europe next week!
