Day 5 - Elephant Transit Home

This morning, we headed to the Tree House accommodations and en route visited the Born Free Elephant Transit Home where Asian elephants can thrive in a protected setting. The orphanage was established by the Born Free Foundation to feed and shelter young abandoned elephants before releasing them back into the wild at aged 4. The Home offered a great opportunity to watch the young elephants being fed from a viewing platform.
