There wasn't much to see in Djibouti City. The city tour was a waste of time other than chatting with the tour guide. He told me there are three types of people present in Djibouti City: 1) 7000 military personal from about 10 countries; 2) port workers, mainly Djiboutians, but also a significant number of international labors, and 3) the nomadic Djiboutians that have come to the city for employment opportunities and to live.
Not a very clean city.

China recently built a railroad that extends from the seaport to Addis Abba.
My lunch an entire fish roasted "Yemen" style.
The part of the city where my hotel was located was very western and developed.
