Burnt Ends' contemporary decor and pleasant, efficient staff made the dinner experience very enjoyable, in addition to my seat directly in front of the head chef's station for the entire dinner.
However, the food in general was often heavily seasoned and in the wrong proportion. For example, the burnt cream seemed never ending with the one asparagus spear. Similarly, the pineapple and rum sabayon seemed excessive, while other items like the crab meat in king crab claw was barely existent.
The restaurant was ranked 12th in Asia and 61st in the World in 2018. It has one Michelin Star.
