Companies typically pre-selected dive sites. But I’m starting to realize these dive sites the are generally unchallenging and very generic. For instance, during my 5 dives here, the only sea-life that I’ve never seen in open waters before was the “guitar shark”. The remainder of the sea life, I’ve seen on dives elsewhere. However, there’s a lot of less experienced divers joining the dives, so the sites selected are appropriate for them. The 5 sites were very nice with visibility of 10+/- meters and water temps of 26°C/77°F. Yes, it was a bit chilly, but it’s winter and I wore a 3mm long wetsuit, so I was fine!
Guitar Shark - My first time, I've seen one in open waters. I've only seen them in aquariums prior.
