Rental Car and Roads

Because my flight plans from Equatorial Guinea were limited due to limited flight schedule, my planned stay in São Tomé was reduced. There were tour option available in São Tomé, but there was not tour that covered the entire island. They were split into north island, south island and middle island. As an alternative, which I've seldom done, I rented a car and drove as much of the island as I could. I had the freedom to stay as long or as short at any one location and I got to pick the locations that I really wanted to see.

Overall, I really was infatuated with the island's lush vegetation. I saw enough of the island that I regretted not staying longer and visiting Principe, but it was enough to know I want to return.
