You Got to Wonder...

What do brain surgeons know about cellphone safety that the rest of us don’t?

Last week, three prominent neurosurgeons told the CNN interviewer Larry King that they DID NOT hold cellphones next to their ears.

1) “I think the safe practice,” said Dr. Keith Black, a surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, “is to use an earpiece so you keep the microwave antenna away from your brain.”

2) Dr. Vini Khurana, an associate professor of neurosurgery at the Australian National University who is an outspoken critic of cellphones, said: “I use it on the speaker-phone mode. I do not hold it to my ear.”

3) And CNN’s chief medical correspondent, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, a neurosurgeon at Emory University Hospital, said that like Dr. Black he used an earpiece.

But we don't have to worry because the Lobbyist and F.D.A. (who are controlled by Lobbyist) say there are no scientific studies to suggest that cell phones cause brain tumors or cancer. All the studies are short-term studies - less than 3 years in length - therefore it's impossible to get a brain tumor or cancer from cell phone usage. No one has studies the issue long-term to PROVE a correlation. Without proof the correlation doesn't exist. Lobbyist have to make a living too.

This sounds like "Cigarettes and Lung Cancer: The Sequel."
