Every summer (from July to Oct) a group of NJ Farmers bring their produce to downtown Newark to sell. And while the hard, tasteless tomatoes from the supermarket are available year round, the sweet, tasteful, vine ripened are bad a couple of months a year....as is the corn, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, etc. Fresh produce tastes to much better.
