Mountain Gorilla Trekking - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda

Observing the mother gorilla for almost 20 minutes with her six months old baby was by far the best part of the hour spent with the gorilla family. Brush, bad lighting and a mess’o flies obfuscated the remainder of the time viewing the balance of the gorillas playing. We did not have a great viewing of the silverback, either. The trek to the location of the gorillas took about 45 minutes. Trackers start out earlier in the morning and later radio the guides the location of the gorilla group. The guides lead us to the gorillas.
