Pohnpei, Micronesia

I liked Pohnpei a lot. Pohnpei is one of the states in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). Our tour guide Jade in Pohnpei was young and enthusiastic. The tour company that Jade was employed made the extra effort to please us. They were young entrepreneurs.

Pohnpei was also very America – their currency is the US dollars, American style electrical outlets, everybody spoken American English fluently, many also had an American sense o humor, temperature was stated in Fahrenheit, there was an ACE Hardware. I even ran into FDIC banking regulators. MFS banking system abides by American banking laws.
