The first dive was better than the second dive. The first dive had more sea life, averaged about 7 meters along a viable reef. The second dive was extremely shallow and in many spots the reef was dead.

Red Sea Scuba Diving, Massawa
We also had the opportunity to scuba dive off the coast of Massawa. It was okay, but not a great compared to the other places I’ve dove on the Red Sea (off the coast of Southern Egypt/Sudan and Dahab, Egypt).
The first dive was better than the second dive. The first dive had more sea life, averaged about 7 meters along a viable reef. The second dive was extremely shallow and in many spots the reef was dead.
