All Kinds of "Incidents"
There's been all kinds of incidents that has deterred tourist from visiting Eastern DRC recently. The park was closed in 2018, due to a British couple being kidnapped and numerous park rangers having been killed. More recently, ISIS has risen north of the park and a death due to ebola have occurred in the border town of Goma, which tourist have to pass through to arrive at the park.
