Tel Aviv Museum of Art

I remember visiting this museum in 2001. It was basically empty due to the 2nd Intifada occurring, but there was an amazing exhibit of Israeli artist under 30. The exhibit was very political and cutting edge. I still remember it. There was no such exhibit this time. Overall, and especially the permanent exhibit seemed to focus more on modern art instead of contemporary art.
