Chobe National Park, Boat Game Tour

My second time to this park, still kinda boring. However, the boat captain/guide was extremely informative and funny. 

Okavango Delt Flight

The water was extremely low.  I was expecting a lot more fingers streams off the larger waterways. We did see a lot of wild life from the air - elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, hippos, buffalos, etc.  Overall flight was less then my expectations.  So many people told me to do it.  Perhaps my expectations are too old.

Visiting Tebogo in Gaborone

I've known Tebogo since the early '90s at Cornell.  We took most classes together as we were both working on our Ph.D.  He's back in Botswana as an Executive Director of a Development Research Institute.  We visited his new house that's being constructed.  It was massive - 600 sq. meters.  It was great hanging out with him, even though we almost text daily on WhatsApp.  It was a fun visit. His humor and wit is still sharp.
