Since the bike trip has turned into a road trip. I have more time and flexibility to try different types of local foods and to sightsee. I checked out the "Swine and Barley"'s tasting menu. Not the best tasting/ wine pairing menu I've had, but it was excellent for it's price! My fave dishes: popcorn custard, beer battered kale with lemon pepper, and pork belly cabbage rice roll with the Gulf XO sauce, especially with the wine paring. It's amazing how the "proper" wine pairing can enhance the flavor of the food.
