Why I Sold My FAANG stocks on Oct 8th

Well I only sold Amazon, Google, and Netflix, because I didn't own any Apple or Facebook.

Why I sold them?


1. Stock Market is over purchased. P/E ration for stock market is close to 1929 depression levels.

2. End of Trumps Tax Cuts causing slower growth in future corporate earnings.

3. Trump stimulated a hot economy he inherited from Obama with tax cuts and a huge spending bill creating a "Trump Bump Equity Bubble".

4.  Higher inflation due to Trump’s trade tariffs and low unemployment causing wages to  increase.

5.  Federal Reserve's mandate to slow the economy to keep inflation under control by increasing interest rates.  Higher yielding money market accounts are safer than equity markets.

6. China's cooling economy.

7. Contracting economies in Japan and Germany. 

8. Potential Brexit disaster that sinks the UK economy into a recession.

9. Plummeting Bitcoin.
