Panjshir Valley Day Trip

100km to the North East of Kabul, it is regarded by many as the most beautiful part of Afghanistan. The lush Panjshir valley leads up out of the plains to the Hindu Kush Mountains. It is a famous emerald mining area and home to the largest concentration of ethnic Tajiks in Afghanistan.
