Etosha 2x

Out of the Big 5: we saw only rhinos and elephants; no buffalos, lions or the elusive leopards.  I still  hasn't seen a leopard in Africa yet. 

Otjitotongwe Cheetah Farm - #1

These cheetah live near the farm owner's house. They are domesticated and very friendly for a "wild" animal. Don't miss this if you visit Namibia, unless it's really doesn't fit into your itinerary.

Spitzkoppe

Spitzkoppe was on the way from Swakopmund to Etosha. It was a nice convenient stop over, but it can easily be skipped. It's basically a large piece of granite rock with cave paintings that look 10 or 20 years old. lol  It's as "Matterhom of Namibia" but whatever.   

We did carry on to a decent "bush" where we watched an amazing sunset and sunrise. 

Namib-Naukluft Park - Living Desert Tour

This tour was such a gimmick.  There really wasn't much to it.  It felt like I was on a 3rd field trip.  We searched the desert for animals, but there aren't many.  It took about 4 hours to find the ones that we did see.  And yes, a beetle was one of them. 

Skydiving - 3rd Time

My 3rd time skydiving! Zero anxiety especially because it was a tandem. The other dude does everything.  The client (me) is along for the ride.  No different than an amusement park ride! 

Seriously, I was having fun!!! :-) 

Namibia National Aquarium & Swakopmund Museum

Like always, if there's an aquarium or museum in town, I'll definitely check it out. Swakopmund's particular aquarium and museum where defining lacking!! But they motivated me to leave the hostel for a bit and wonder about town.  I found a great fish deli, where I ate twice while in town.
