Using Trip Advisor combined with Lonely Planet, I've designed my own city tours. In Windhoek I spent the entire day wandering out the city using maps.me. The coolest part was finding a secluded trail through the city that lead me to an amazing restaurant outside of town. I had to take a taxi back though.
