On my break from the riding in the dusty overland truck, grocery shopping in outdoor markets, cooking on a campfire for every meal, pooping in the outdoors using a spade, etc. I got a room at the Hilton. The food in Windhoek was up to western standards and there was live music. A well need reprieve from the overland truck.
